Alberta

Green: The university does not have a mandatory vaccine policy.

Orange: Individuals must undergo frequent rapid testing if they do not provide the university with proof of vaccination.

Light red: The university has a campus-wide vaccine policy with the alternative option of frequent rapid testing and/or some students are mandated to get the vaccine.

Red: The university has a campus-wide mandatory vaccination policy and has not offered any alternative options

Grey: The university has not provided a sufficient amount of information.

Alberta (mandatory vaccination policies)

MacEwan University

As of the start of the Winter 2022 semester, students, staff and faculty at MacEwan University must have the Covid vaccine. Individuals who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons will not be provided with any alternative options such as rapid testing.


Mount Royal University

As of Jan. 1, 2022, students, staff and faculty at Mount Royal University must have the Covid vaccine. Individuals who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons will not be provided with any alternative options such as rapid testing.


University of Alberta 

As of Nov. 1, 2021, students, staff and faculty at the University of Alberta must have the Covid vaccine. Individuals who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons will not be provided with any alternative options such as rapid testing.


University of Calgary

As of Jan. 1, 2022, students, staff and faculty at the University of Calgary must get the Covid vaccine. Individuals who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons will not be provided with any alternative options such as rapid testing.


University of Lethbridge

As of Nov. 1, 2021, students, staff and faculty at the University of Lethbridge must get the Covid vaccine. Individuals who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons will not be provided with any alternative options such as rapid testing.
